Before beginning the unit, it's important to set out some fundamental or essential questions that these pieces of literature, in one way or another, will attempt to answer. Philosophical questions can also be used as a transition between pieces or groups of pieces as a way of "resetting" students and teachers for the ultimate goals of the unit. Procedures
