This resource is here for students and teachers to pull from if they just want to, you know, read a story. Too often, it's easy to forget that reading for pleasure is one of the reasons readers become readers, and it's unfortunate that many people stop being read to by the time they're in 4th grade. I find it no coincidence that this is when reading scores tend to decline. The very profitable audiobook industry is ample proof that folks like being read to, and a good reader can make connections to the material that may not be as evident to someone reading silently. So with that, here's a great list of read-aloud works. NOTE: The abbreviation "PST" means "Potentially Sensitive Topics." Not all stories are appropriate for all audiences, so please select accordingly.
